St. Louis - Cranes at the top of each leg of the uncompleted Gateway Arch lower a safety net to stretch between the legs above a stabilizing strut. The section was completed yesterday after workmen said they almost were blown off the Arch during a windstorm Friday. The net is similar to those used by circus performers.
