1964 Volkswagen Beetle

Description: 1964 Volkswagen Convertible Bug Beetle Vert Vintage Sedan California Car VW. I’m selling my 1964 Volkswagen convertible beetle bug that I’ve had for twenty years. This Vert was built December 1963 and is considered a 1964. I would like it to go to a good home. Right now I don’t have time to finish it. It’s currently on non op status California registration and the title is in my name. The pan and body have matching numbers.pan half’s were replaced around 15 years ago. The pan has some surface rust but not bad. The support rails are overall sturdy the drivers side has around a 12” section that will need metal work and the passenger side has around a 6” section that will need metal work. The body is really straight with no dents or rust. I have the top mechanism as seen in the pics, but I don’t have the top or back window. All the roll down windows are there and work. It has the original back convertible seat back as seen in the pics. The interior will have to be done. It has a built single port motor that runs really good. The wiring will need to be replaced. It has a narrowed beam and is lowered front and back. This is the last year of the small windows, which makes it really desirable. I think it’s a fair price for this early Vert.
