EN 05169 indicating this was made in 1958. As you can see in the uploaded video, it works! Foot pedal was used to turn machine on - and built-in light was turned on/off near the end of the video. The sewing machine has light vintage wear - no dents, no repairs, no discernible damage. The case has light vintage wear from storage. Comes with a vintage oiling can. The case's handle is branded Singer as seen in the first and thirteenth pictures. The closure clasps on the case, as seen in the twenty-second and twenty-fourth pictures, work and are secure. Externally, the wiring for the foot pedal has no damage or repair tape - but is inclined to coil because it was in storage as seen in the twelfth. The sewing machine's electric cord has one 'knick' - as seen in the nineteenth picture - and no repair tape. However, as with all vintage electronics that I sell, I always suggest having a professional inspect the electronics (can never be too safe!) Jevansco, the seventeenth and eighteenth pictures, where the sewing machine was lifted from the case's base, are a bit unprofessional - what gives? Because of the weight of the sewing machine, I held the back of the sewing machine while lifting it from the case's base. Therefore, I only had one hand to use when taking the seventeenth and eighteenth pictures. Jevansco, does this machine require the oiling can? Good question! I am uncertain. However, the original owner kept this oiling can with the piece. Therefore this piece is being offered with the oiling can! Jevansco, there is like a green bow on the case's latch, as seen in the last picture, does that mean something? Not that I know of. Original owner kept this green bow on the latch for some character.
