The institution at this time was called "Stony Brook Free School Dist. #1" , but was also known as "Stony Brook Elementary School".. The school is a private, Christian, Co-Educational, College Preparatory Boarding, and also Day School for grades 7?12, located near Long Island in Stony Brook, NY. It was established in 1922 by John Fleming Carson and fellow members of the Stony Brook Assembly. Its founding headmaster was Frank E. Gaebelein. For generations now, many of Long Island, New York's most affluent residents have attended this school.. The image depicts (32) happy & adorable tots on stage in adorable hand made costumes, in likely their very first theatrical performance!! CUTE CUTE CUTE, to the nines!! Measures 8" X 10". Was found in a manila envelope with the former owner's report card which identifies this school "Stony Brook U.F. #1" and singed by teachers "Frances M. Willsie" and also "Shirley Weiss". The report card will also be sent along!! A very rare original chrome photograph image!!
