Description: Mid-Century Noritake Teapot, Cream & Sugar, (6) Snack Plates/Trays & (6) Cups in the Bamboo Pattern #5540. This gorgeous service for (6) set of China was made in Japan in the 1950’s. The bamboo pattern is in lovely colors of teal, green, black and trimmed in gold. There are no chips, cracks or paint loss. The only blemish is the bottom of cream & sugar where it’s not glazed, needs cleaned with magic eraser. Other than that, it appears that it was never used or not used much. Set measures: Teapot- 6” tall with lid and 10” wide from spout to handle, Sugar Bowl: 4.5” tall with lid and 6.5” wide handle to handle, Creamer: 3.25” tall top of spout to bottom and 5.25” spout to handle, Snack Plate: 8.5” in length and 7 1/8” across widest sides. NOTE: Plates have place for cups to set and room for cookies or whatever. I’m not sure if these are considered plates or trays? Cups: 2 1/8” tall and 3.5” diameter. This is a really beautiful 15 piece tea set!
