Description: 1944 lincoln wheat penny with no mint mark. 1944 lincoln wheat pennies without a mint mark were minted in Philadelphia according to my research, unless itapplies to all of the no mint mark pennies in general in case that makes a bigger difference. I'm not very knowledgeable regarding coins so I'm providing as much detail as I can. I'm simply getting details from online, and I suggest you do also to reassure yourselves in case it is worth a lot. Supposedly it also has a rim error in the L In liberty, but to me I'm not sure what to look for to see if there is an error or not, it looks without an error to me, but again, I hardly know what to look for. Scroll down to see the selling price of all the pennies of this year to check the ALREADY SOLD prices by clicking on sold items and be sure to also look at the highest selling prices of these pennies that were ALREADY SOLD at $1,500, see the second photo to get a better idea as well as seeing the other sold prices. The second photo shows a 1943 penny selling for $1.7 million, and the 1944 pennies are the only other ones selling for a few hundred thousand. Do your own research on the internet. I do not know much about coins but I may get it professionally graded as well. Regardless my internet searches state that even the 1944 copper pennies sold up to a few hundred thousand dollars (and I don't see a reason why various different internet sources would say the same thing if it were untrue). Some other sources on the internet state the value is just fifteen or twenty cents as well, but apparently they also sold for up to a few hundred thousand. I may eventually get this graded professionally just to be sure, and I suppose some of you collectors know much more. Regardless I doubt most anybody would pay over a hundred thousand even if it is worth that. I plan on getting this professionally graded especially if any one of you would like me to. I don't want to miss out on a fortune but again I want it fair for you the buyer as well.
