Description: Hubley Cast Iron Bay Horse Figurine with Advertising Plate This is a rarely found handsome Hubley Mare Cast Iron figurine with advertising. The horse is a rich red bay color on a wood plinth. She has white front pasterns and a white blaze face. The engraved metal plate reads Arkansas City Merchants. It is held in place by original screws. This lovely lady is in excellent condition with original paint. There is minimal paint loss including a rub on the left hip and a few flea bites on the tail as shown. She stands solidly. The mare is about 7 inches long and 5 1/4 inches tall. The base is 6 inches by 3 inches. It adds about a half inch to the height for overall height of 5 3/4 inches. The base is protected by original green felt. This piece weighs about 1 1/4 pounds.
