Book 1 covers Jan 1, 1915 thru Jan 31, 1916 and Book 2 is from Feb 1, 1916 thru May 1, 1917. 99% Full with no missing pages. Book 1 has 354 pages with entries and book 2 399 pages. I'm still conducting research to pinpoint a town or county in Vermont as there is no owners name or information in these books. I did find Herb, Edwin and Harrison Corliss Entries along with Raymond Norton which has lead me to focus on Washington County, Vermont as the location of this General Store. I acquired these books from an acquaintance in NH and no information was received. I love the variety of goods and foods this store carried during War Time. Here is a Few Goods I Jotted Down.Gloves, Sugar, Shredded Wheat, Stockings, Oysters, Macinaw (peach), Nails, Toothpaste, Cigar, Cookies, Soap Powder, Codfish, Whip, Salmon and Bread. OMG! The Prices are Amazingly Low. Ha! Hundreds of different items are listed in these books. Also entered was a Telephone Charge made by 2 Girls. Each book is 16 3/8" x 7". Spine cover is damaged and mostly missing on one book and other is quite nice condition. Entries were made in Pencil and the majority will be legible as photos will show. Please Enlarge and Look at All Pictures and Also Read Entire Condition Section. Thank You in Advance!
