Description: 1900 WILLIAM MCKINLEY & TEDDY THEODORE ROOSEVELT 7/8" pin pin-back button political Presidential campaign button pin Approximate measurements: .875" or 7/8" diameter Pin back button promoting William McKinley for president and Theodore Roosevelt for vice president, 1900. On the front of the pin it has a gold colored background with an American flag, stars and striped pattern shield with the pictures of William McKinley on the left in a small circle and Theodore Roosevelt Jr. on the right in a small circle. On the back of the button pin show the original paper backing which reads: The Whitehead and Hoag Co Newark, New Jersey Allied Printing Trades Council Union Label April 14, 1896 - July 21, 1896 Patented July 18(96?). Great condition- the front is in very good condition no major scratches or gouges, can see the faces clearly. The back has some wear and light rust on the metal pin, the paper has some marks/ stains along edges from the metal wearing off onto the paper and a very small tear under the word 'patented'.
