I am saying the material is silk because during this time period there were three main types of material - - silk, wool, and cotton. Thanks for looking. This is a fabulous piece. I'm downsizing and selling things that are no longer on display. Last four picture had poor lighting. If pulled out the crocheting and didn’t highlight the beautiful silk pink coral material.
