Description: Fine and original rare SIGNED CDV portrait of German statesman Ludwig Windthorst, from the Berlin studio of Dr Franz Stolze, circa 1875. Original CDV (albumen photograph laid on photographer's card). Undated but circa 1875. Signed by Windthorst in black ink across lower edge of photo, just extending onto the mount below.
