This New Orleans arrows half dime is from the estate of a Texas collector who purchased many coins from a Virginia mail order coin company that is widely known for the unfortunate practice of chemically dipping AU coins. Although cleaned, it has not been treated harshly or abraded (i.e. not hairlined).
