Description: This is a excellent condition complete original authentic correct vintage model 1842 Springfield musket stock. It is full length and has not been cut down. Has a nice clear cartouch. These used to be common but now finding a good uncut full length original is really tough. This is a really nice stock and I cab see no missing wood or repiars. Please note that if you see a long dark line down the RH side of the stock from the first barrel band to the butt, it is not a crack or defect, but simply a dark stain in the wood. It is full length and has not been cut down. I included a bunch of photo so you could see clearly this correct and authentic piece. This is as nice of an original stock as you will ever find. Because of the length shipping will be oversized.
