Great for display or use. The rim flares wide and the base is wide too, it makes it a very stately size and shape.Measure: 12-3/8" tall by 4-3/4" wide top rim and base is 4-1/2" wide It is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800's to 1915) which is over 100 years old now! This is a classic design called "Harvard & Daisy" typically as a collectors name- but many companies cut this style motif and many companies had special names for theirs. Though Daisy & Harvard can be found easy enough, this shape trumpet is extremely hard to find. Condition: This cut glass is over 100 years old and in good condition for the age.. Insurance claim (loss or damage): Please do not open a dispute with ebay without contacting me first because it is not necessary. I will make an insurance claim and you will be taken care of. However, shippers do not just honor claims online anymore with the photo's only- now they tend to ask for an inspection of the item. USPS will send a letter within a week asking for the item to be brought in for inspection, while other companies may come to the residence for the inspection by appointment. I have to get the claim approved and the item inspected BEFORE I can refund now because they always require inspections and we have to comply with them. So first, pictures.
