For my store page, click here You are bidding on a genuine BARNEY'S casino $1 (one dollar) gaming/slot token (1965 W Wendell Mint, reeded edge, rare nickel-silver trial strike version [normal version is brass], obsolete token, property operated from 1961-1967) from Stateline (Lake Tahoe), Nevada. This token measures 37.3 mm or 1.469" inch diameter (standard $1 slot size from 1965-2000s, 0.7 oz.) size and made from a nickel-silver alloy mixture. This is a true collector's item! Very few, if any casinos use metal casino tokens in slot machines anymore due to electronic ticketing ("ticket in ticket out") introduced during the early 2000s. The majority of casino tokens were destroyed by their respective properties and the limited amount of existing (especially well-preserved) ones kept by customers will continue to climb in value as the years go on. Because they are rare, casino slot tokens make for excellent gifts/souvenirs and collector's pieces! Get them before they are gone forever!
